New Portraits

by robsimons24. Average Reading Time: less than a minute.

I took these portraits of Selina last Saturday afternoon. We hiked behind the Presidio Landmark building, then circled around to shoot in front of an abandoned house. I used six different types of 35 mm film, including black and white, which explains the diversity of the images here. Overall, I’m quite pleased with the results, although one roll of slide film got completely washed out when cross-processed, with these saturated red streaks everywhere. Oh well. We had fun and it was good to be shooting again.

Obliqueness aside, these are fresh. The model is so gorgeous, she dominates the composition. That said, the technical experimentation stands out. Sweet contrast, robust saturation.
